    Description

1957 VINTAGE WAGON TRAIN BRONZE FINISH LESLIE HENRY .44 CAP GUN very Good appearance equivalent to its pair also listed. B+
NEEDS an adjustment because something is stuck when try to tip the revolver spinner out.
Also the trigger often sticks hard.
You really need to see all the pictures of this one to get the idea.
I cannot promise this has never been fired, because I’m not an expert, so look at the pictures and judge for yourself. If it was shot, it was not a lot. Not as clean inside as my other gun being offered, but may be better outside. I will not try to tinker.
I am not in anyway a cap gun expert. But I know a good piece when I see one, and this one’s nice. Not 100% functional. .
Look at the pictures you be the judge.
Ask questions if you have any although by looking at the photos you probably will know just about as much about it as I do.
This is a vintage toy cap gun with a bronze finish that I found at a Louisville, KY area estate sale. It is a 1957-1962 Leslie-Henry 44 WAGON TRAIN cap gun (see pictures). It is in very good very lightly used condition, (air it has ever been used), somewhat clean INSIDE. The outer finish looks nice ( see pictures). The antler pattern grip has ZERO cracks in it. There is no physical damage that I can see (see pictures). The trigger mechanism does not work as intended and when it does , not smoothly. It does not cock, but I do not think this model was supposed to. not 100%sure what the action is, I have read where some make a ricochet sound-this one does not (see pictures). Don’t know what that would sound like anyway. Some models came with realistic looking bullets that went into the chamber, and could be removed.  They are not present.
There are some places where the finish has been rubbed off from being handled.
I have not in any way tried to clean this up. This is how I found it.
I have another just like it that is ALMOST pristine. It is already listed eventually. And it is even nicer than this one.
A real nice display piece. This vintage Leslie-Henry 44 WAGON TRAIN toy cap gun comes as shown in the pictures. Should be of interest to vintage cowboy western TV show toys-cap guns-accessories-memorabilia & vintage Leslie-Henry / Hubley 44 45 cap gun related collectors.
