Vintage Daisy Diecast Metal Cap Gun, with Leather Holster

Vintage Daisy Cap Gun, with Leather Holster. Made of diecast metal with plastic handles. Measures 8" long. Cap gun appears to be complete with no cracks, breaks or repairs. However, when trigger is pulled, it does not return to it's original position. It can be pushed forward easily with the same trigger finger and then fired again.  Holster is all leather and from the same age as the gun. I am not sure if it's original
to the cap gun.
Some of the silver plating has rubbed off. Look closely at all photos.
