NOTE:  shadows and reflection from beads are a result of pics taken in direct bright sunlight.
A hard to find strand of older vintage, maybe antique ?,  carved amber 18 Arhats or Luohan prayer beads with a carved Buddha drop bead and a carved round center bead.  Coloring varies from a translucent tortoise color (most of the beads) to a red or dark cherry red on some, the pics are showing up more red overall, but that's what the camera captured in bright sunlight.  Hand carved, the head beads vary somewhat in size but average approx. 1" long x about 7/8" to 1" wide.  Buddha bead approx. 1-1/2" long.  Only 2 of the head beads have hair on the back, the others are bald.  There are 20 beads total. The strand weighs approx. 149.8 grams.  Beads do have a strong electrostatic reaction when rubbed on wool and there was no reaction to an acetone swab.  There are teeny air or water bubbles present in many beads (includ. Buddha bead) when looking carefully.  There is no clasp.
Measures approx. 20" long, total length, plus 1-1/2" Buddha bead.
Very good older vintage, pre-owned, carved amber beads, a couple have more than 1 string hole which results in 1 bead hanging crooked, see detail pics.   Teeny minute air or water bubbles inherent in amber can be found.  Looks like an old chip on the bottom chin of 1 bead, see pic.

INSURANCE & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION (or Signature if over 0.00) is INCLUDED in the shipping & handling fee. Some items ship for a flat rate 1st class fee.  Otherwise see shipping calculator above for shipping cost to your zipcode, Priority or Parcel are options, which you choose at checkout.  I charge a small handling fee to cover or in most cases just help to defray the cost of packing supplies so that your item will arrive safely.   USPS Parcel shipping cost may be lower than Priority but PARCEL IS SLOWER THAN PRIORITY, it can take up to 2 weeks (10 business days) for delivery in some cases.  Shipping & handling costs is buyers responsibility.
