    This Dummy cap gun works great.  Nice strong snap of the hammer with each trigger pull.  Grips are the original grips that had a nut on the right side.  I have been collecting toy guns for a long time and have never seen the post that holds the cap roll removed as well as the hammer being modified to not fire caps on the Dummy version of this gun.  It looks like it was cut in one direction then snapped off.    This early version also has the Colt logo in the grips and the large push button release for the barrel.  The chrome finish is outstanding.  A great looking gun.  Works and displays very well. Has been in my collection for over 20 years.
