    About this Item:
    A vintage Victorian brass wall mount sponge holder in outstanding condition.  An unusual piece that would look outstanding in your Victorian or Arts and Crafts home.  Nice substantial size that would hold sponges OR hand towels.
    Quality construction and made of solid brass.  Dated with two patent dates "PAT. JAN 31-99 , FEB. 27-1999" (see last photo).   Possibly never used NOS (New Old Stock).
    If desired, you could polish this up to a bright high-gloss finish...your choice.  Be aware that much of the value in an old piece like this is in the original patina which takes years to develop.
    Measures 11" wide, projects 5" from wall, 'tub' is 2" deep.
