    Description

    This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug.  Also, the cap gun is a toy and cannot fire projectiles.
    This auction is for a George Schmidt Roy Rogers cap gun, 1950-1960 era.  This is a 10" die cast version in nickel with a long, ribbed barrel, engraving, and RR stag grips.  Also, the trigger and hammer match the dark copper color of the grips.
    This cap gun is in good condition.  The nickel finish has only minor blemishes, and there is very little evidence of cap firing.  The grips are in excellent condition.  The trigger and hammer work correctly, although the hammer snap is a shade weak.  As far as I can tell, all parts are original to this cap gun.
