You can dispense up to twelve pre-portioned doses before needing to refill the dosing chamber. The extra large hopper can hold multiple pounds of coffee at a time, and the timer dial operation can grind in up to sixty second increments for continual grinding. Both the dosing chamber and its built-in tamper are designed with high-speed scenarios in mind, where you want to be able to quickly grind and tamp for several drinks in a row. The Royal’s large 83mm stainless steel burrs are stepless, meaning they can be adjusted to a virtually infinite degree by turning the collar in small increments. Although this grinder is capable of producing coarse or fine grinds, in a cafe environment it’s simply impractical.
