Nichols Cap Gun Vintage, Silver Pony 1950's RARE, Chrome-Nickel, Single-Shot

This is a rare one.  It is a MINT Silver Pony. It does not look as though it has fired any caps.   Single shot with a nickel finish.  It is made from a modified mold of the very first gun Nichols made.  The very first gun was the Silver Pony that was all metal.  The second gun was the Silver Mustang, it had plastic grips and a jewel in each grip.  The third gun was the Silver Colt. It had plastic grips and was the first gun that Nichols put the Circle N logo in the grip.
With all that information you can assume that this gun was made after the Silver Mustang and before Nichols moved to Jacksonville.  I do not know of any guns plated in the Nickel finish (like they used on the first Stallion 45's) after they moved, so this must be a Pasadena Texas gun.   There is no doubt that the frame of this gun is the same as the first Silver Pony.  They must have modified the mold to accept the plastic grips.
This Silver Pony has a Nickel finish, plastic grips and the grips have a Circle N in them.
