HUBLEY "SMOKY JOE"  Cap  Guns W/Holster & Bullets
Up for Auction:
THE RARE AND HARD-TO-FIND  HUBLEY - SMOKY JOE  CAP GUN SET
The Pistols:
Are   approximately 8-1/2 long  x 3-1/2” high.  Bright Nickel  finish with only very minute surface scratches, across the gun and cylinders.  "SMOKY JOE" imprinted on the both sides of the gun frame below the cylinder. Nice Red paint with only minor fading.
Cast-Iron construction  friction type cap guns.
The grips are clean, crack and chip free with no splits.  Some minor warping (see photos)  The cap chambers and hammers are very clean and have not fired caps as there is no corrosion present.  Both guns are in operationally perfect  condition.  The barrel drops down to load the roll type caps. and then close securely.  Both Guns  stay closed when fired with a   crisp hard hammer snap  with each pull of the trigger.
The Holster:
Is approximately 30"wide x 10-1/2" high assembled.  It is a  3-piece type as holster pockets are removable from the belt.   The Belt is
approximately 30"wide x 1-1/2" high.  The Holster Pockets
are
approximately 5"wide x 10-1/2"high.
Nice Black leather holster with "SMOKY JOE"  in brass letters on the holster pockets.  The "J" is missing on the right holster but letters can be found on ebay and other vintage toy websites.
The
holster features  white  jewels, on the holster pocket and belt, domed rivets, red jewels, and     (4) wood  red painted    bullets on an undamaged white plastic  bullet holder. The leather is soft, and very pliable, and the stitching is tight and intact.  There is  aging,  fading, surface blemishes,  and  surface scratches across the holster.  (see photos)
SUPERB SET!.  Displays extremely well.
