Description
This offering is for a large 1953 British five Shillings (Crown) piece that was issued in commemoration of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation. Obverse features the new Queen on horseback with four coat-of-arms on the reverse. Coin is in Uncirculated condition with no major detracting marks. There’s some light surface discoloration and a few fingerprints. Coin comes housed in the holder as shown. Particulars are: KM Catalog# 894; incused lettered edge; approximately 38.5mm in diameter; copper-nickel composition.This month's offerings include a mixture of worldwide and U.S. coins, medals, stamps and whatever else falls out of the closet.
