Description
For sale is a set Eight (8) Antique Victorian Solid Cast Brass Cabinet/Drawer Pulls With Scrolled Design. The pulls were cleaned and lightly polished. There was no corrosion present. These are solid, heavy antique pulls, and appear to be cast brass. A couple do show some battle damage, as in being mounted to a dresser drawer that was being squeezed into a bedroom and the front face of the pull made light contact with the door jamb. There is also a mounting post on one of the pulls that is partially gone (see photographs), but is still fully functional and maintains a tight grip on a screw. Overall, these pulls are in very good condition, considering their age. The pulls measured 4 21/32" in length. The relief or height is 13/16" if the mounting posts are inserted into the door face; and 1 3/16" high if the mounting posts are flush with the face of the door. There are only Twelve (12) original screws that accompany the pulls, a shortage of four (4) screws that would need to be replaced.
If you are looking for a set of attractive antique solid brass dresser/cabinet pulls in very nice condition for an antique restoration or to use in a reproduction piece, this may be a set to consider.
Please closely examine the photographs to determine the condition of the drawer pulls and if they are suitable for your intended application.
Sale is for the
