Function Description:
1. The module has two buttons: IN/OUT and ON/OFF: IN/OUT button switches the display of input voltage and output voltage, long press can switch output current and output power display; ON/OFF button controls output ON or OFF, long press can Set the default output state of the next power-on to ON or OFF.
2. CC is the current setting potentiometer. Turn clockwise to increase the set current. When the load current reaches the set current, it enters the constant current state, and the CC constant current indicator (red) lights up; the right CV is the voltage setting The potentiometer, rotating clockwise, can increase the output voltage. The OUT indicator is an output status indicator, which lights up when there is voltage at the output terminal, otherwise it is off.
Instructions:
1. Use as an ordinary step-down module with overcurrent protection capability
(1) Adjust the CV constant voltage potentiometer to make the output voltage reach the voltage value you want.
(2) Turn the CC current adjustment potentiometer counterclockwise for more than 10 turns to the end, then use a multimeter to measure the output short-circuit current with a 10A or 20A current range (directly connect the two test leads to the output terminal), and adjust the CC constant current potential clockwise The converter makes the output current reach the overcurrent protection value you want to set. (For example, the current value displayed by the multimeter is 2A, then the maximum current when you use the module can only reach 2A, when the current reaches 2A, the red constant current indicator light is on, otherwise the indicator light is off)
2. Use as a battery charger
The module without constant current function cannot be used to charge the battery. Because the voltage difference between the exhausted battery and the charger is very large, the charging current is too large and the battery is damaged. Therefore, the battery must be constant at the beginning. Current charging, when the charging reaches a certain level, it will automatically switch back to constant voltage charging.
(1) Determine the floating voltage and charging current of the rechargeable battery you need; (If the lithium battery parameter is 3.7V/2200mAh, then the floating voltage is 4.2V and the maximum charging current is 1C, which is 2200mA)
(2) Under no-load conditions, the multimeter measures the output voltage and adjusts the constant voltage potentiometer to make the output voltage reach the float voltage; (if charging a 3.7V lithium battery, adjust the output voltage to 4.2V)
(3) First turn the CC current adjustment potentiometer counterclockwise for more than 10 turns to the end, then use a multimeter to measure the output short-circuit current with a current range of 10A or 20A (directly connect the two test leads to the output terminal), and adjust the CC constant current potential clockwise The output current reaches the predetermined charging current value;
(4) Connect the battery and charge it.
(Steps 1, 2, and 3 are: the input terminal is connected to the power supply, and the output terminal is not connected to the battery without load)
