Crafted from Natural Bone of Domesticated Water Buffalo.
Beads are approximately 8mm to 9mm diameter.
The length is approximately 27 to 29 Inches around.
These beads are handcrafted and so size and colors may vary slightly & some beads have minor imperfections / flat spots / bone texture.
The photos show samples of several strands, they have minor variations as can be seen using close up view in photos.
They are hand crafted in the Himalaya of Nepal,
the same land where Buddha was born.
The material is bone of Water Buffalo, a common meat source in Nepal & the Himalayan Region. The bone is a byproduct of food production, the Domesticated Water Buffalos that provide the bone are taken for food and the bone has been used for many centuries for Carving material, beads, and other handicrafts. They are not from any protected animal.
