Art Deco Men’s 10k 14k? Large Ruby Cabochon Ring Wear/Scrap 8.71 Grams Gold

Vintage 8.71 Grams Scrap/Wear Men’s Ruby Ring 10k or more.
This auction is for an incredible Art Deco large ruby cabochon ring. It is being sold for wear or scrap but the band needs to be repaired. If I am using the ring sizer right, it is between and 7 and a 8. (Please see the photos.)

Here’s the deal...this is being sold as a 10k ring but when I did the acid testing, it was almost as if it came up as 14k but I don’t want to get into a situation where I say something to be true that I am unsure of. I am fairly new to acid testing so maybe someone could tell me if maybe that means the ring is maybe 12k gold and that is why the 10k stayed so strong and the 14k stayed but not all the way? I have no idea.
But, please be aware that if you purchase this ring, I am guaranteeing that it is 10k but can’t for sure guarantee that it is above that.
All sales are final but with that being said, if I have made mistake on anything, I will make it right by you. In the case is this ring, there shouldn’t be a problem. Bottom line: 10k, Ruby, broken band ring.

I’ve sold scrap gold for many years and I’ve had one bracelet and two earrings returned in all that time and that was before I had the acid test available to me and they were marked and not magnetic and looked/felt real to me.
