Hirschfeld drew the artwork for the CBS Sunday afternoon arts and literature Television show Omnibus in 1952 and 1953; Presented by the Ford Foundation’s TV-Radio workshop. this is a printed promo card that was sent to prospective advertisers and television stations. Shown in this card are: Alistair Cooke, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, Teddy Wilson, Severino Pisacane, Also Fabrizi, Thomas Hart Benson, Claude Rains, who were all guests on the program, performing or promoting their movies, plays and musicals: The Flowers of Saint Francis
Thomas Hart Benton was a major American artist from Missouri. His paintings are famous for showing ordinary people doing common things. He drew and painted portraits, landscapes, and scenes of people at work in farms, factories, and busy cities.

Caricaturist Al Hirshfield was born June 21, 1903, in St. Louis, Mo. He studied art in Europe and traveled in East Asia, where Japanese and Javanese art influenced his graphic style. He was especially known for his stylish caricatures in the New York Times over many decades (beginning 1929) portraying show-business and Broadway personalities. Hirschfeld also illustrated many books.
