    Description

    21 antique butterfly catches or turnbuckles in cast iron for cupboard doors, circa 1900.  Catches are in original black finish and look unused.  Measuring about 1  1/2" - 1  5/8".  There are 15 original screws that will be included that were found with the catches.  Catch is mounted on the surface  of the edge of the stile either at the top of the door or on the opening side and pivots onto the door to catch it closed and prevent from swinging open .  Being sold in one lot as found and in good condition.
