    1982 Official Royal Wedding Crown Coin and Birth Medal Lady Diana, Prince Wm.
    This item is from my personal collection. This commemorative medal set was issued to honor both the Prince of Wales and the Lady Diana Spencer on their wedding and also the birth of their son, Prince William on June 21, 1982.
    Medal 1 (left) is the Royal Birth Announcement Medal - also a brilliant uncirculated medal issued in honor of their first heir, Prince William. The reverse side features the Coat of Arms of the Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales.
    Medal 2 (right ) is the Royal Wedding coin - a brilliant uncirculated Legal Tender coin of Great Britain, issued in honor of the the Royal Wedding on July 29, 1981. the reverse side features a royal portait of Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin. This portrait has appeared on nearly all UK coinage since 1968.
    These have been issued by The Columbia Mint.
