    Description

    For your consideration 1739 King George II Silver Crown.  The young laureate head and draped bust type.
    The coin has DVODECIMO edge and Roses in angles on Reverse - Rayner, English Silver Coinage 122 & Spink 3687.
    This is a very nice example . Would grade as a nice XF, with similar wear to the upper raised surfaces of both the Obverse and the Reverse.
    It it has a nice even flan for one of these coins which are often almost oval in shape.
    The coin has an old light toning with
    all the edge lettering still nice and bold.
